Former GOP congressman backs ads against gay marriage amendment

SAN FRANCISCO -- Former U.S. Rep. Michael Huffington gave $100,000 to a group of gay Republicans that launched a television ad campaign opposing a proposed constitutional amendment that would prohibit same-sex marriages.
