Local activists ask Riverside County to oppose anti-same sex marriage amendment

The local fight over gay marriage is heating up and activists are now taking their fight to county leaders. This morning, same sex couples from the valley urged the County Board of Supervisors to show their support for gay marriages. “I'm here today to urge this body to take a stand.” At a morning meeting of the Board of Supervisors, several gay rights activists from the valley asked Riverside County (CA)join the national battle over same sex marriages.
