Miffed gay cruisers hold back on spending
By LaKEISHA McSWEENEY,Guardian Staff Reporter

For Randol Taylor a taxi driver at the Prince George Wharf, Friday workdays are what he looks forward to, but last Friday he left the job early, sorely disappointed. Mr. Taylor however was not the only one.

"Usually on Fridays I do great, no exceptions," he told the Guardian on Monday, "but Friday (last) was the worst time of my life."

Mr. Taylor said he arrived at work around 7 a.m. and did not receive a job until 10:30 a.m.

He said he transported four people from the gay "family values" cruise to Paradise Island, two males and two females.

"They asked me if they will be safe," he said, "they were really scared."
