As part of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts' 10th Anniversary, they're
hosting live performances in the gallery space. Next week features
several Bay Area writers and artists in two staged readings...

Dick Cheney & Condi Rice come to visit the detainees at Gitmo Bay,
only to find the new natives are more than a bit restless. A good ol'
fashioned cultural war breaks out, complete with rhymed verse,
dancing Taliban, & gospel-singin, flag-wavin US troops... It's the
Penality of Evil, set to music... with Taylor Brady, Cynthia Taylor, Eli
Drabman, Judith Goldman, Chet Wiener, Sianne Ngai, & Jen
Scappetone.

A yard sale in a quiet town somewhere in California provides the
backdrop for a group of people discussing, among other things, the
merits of a county-sanctioned feral cat colony that has been
established in their neighborhood. With Karla Milosevich, Cliff
Hengst, Brent Cunningham, Jocelyn Saidenberg, Mac MacGiness,
Tonya Hollis, Rex Ray, Craig Goodman and others.
