Police seek killers of transsexual today

PHOENIX — Police are looking for two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a transsexual.

A 22-year-old man (sic) living as a woman was killed near 35th and Glenrosa avenues early Tuesday.

The victim, whose name was not released, was walking with someone shortly after midnight when two men approached them and exchanged words. That’s when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the back, witnesses told police.
