CAUTION IN CONGRESS: Influential conservatives counsel against rush to amend Constitution


Washington -- Key conservatives in Congress said Tuesday they either opposed or wanted to go slow on a constitutional amendment that would bar same-sex marriages, but opponents fear that such an amendment would probably win approval.
