Supporters of a federal constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage descended on the west steps of the Capitol on Friday. State Rep. Kevin Lundberg, R-Berthoud, spearheaded the effort to support a move by U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Colo., to amend the U.S. Constitution to define marriage as union between a man and a woman.
